June 17-23 Sketch Ideas

Preface: Wanting to write for SNL or any paid comedy show, every week I'll post 5-10 sketch ideas (ranging in rating) sort of as pitches, choosing 1 or 2 to write during the week for practice.

• Human Resources (the game show)- Useful suggestions from a suggestion box

• Beer can staff wizard, who drank the most booze, outfits of beer. ninety percent of house made out of beer cans. 
  

• News anchor trying to get a rise out of a person completely calm after everything in his life exploded.

• At What point do things get creepy- judges??? random scenarios that get increasingly questionable. (game show) 

• "I am a blissful snow angel" person using quirky life mantras to deal with daily problems and depressing scenarios.

• Instead of going to the gym, we adopted a kid. Adoption ad.

 I try to come up with 2-3 sketches for the coming host of SNL but as the season's closed... I'll choose someone I'd like to host the show:

ELIZABETH WARREN (Massachusetts Senator)  

• Opening monologue about student loan debt, talks about the things students probably end up doing to pay their student loan debts off.  Random cast members asking her for money to pay off their student loan. Remind people that she isn't Hillary Clinton.  

•  Activist, fighting for justice.

• A senator slumber party
• Possibly talking about the laws they'd really like to pass
• Or... just non-partisan fun?
• But a pillow fight for sure (obviously)
