Sketch Ideas

Preface: Wanting to write for SNL or some paid sketch comedy gig, every week I'll post 5-10 sketch ideas to keep the mind going.  Think of these as pitches.  By next week I'll hopefully have completely written one or two. The ideas range from G-rating to R and may not be suitable for SNL audiences but still... this is practice in being productive/proficient. 

• "Illegal" children bussed in.

• Commercial: Protection against unprovoked bear love.

• Two people beheaded fall in love. Just like this idea of two heads meeting for the first time after being beheaded and starting a relationship. (LGBT or not).
  

• Girl’s advice- getting a guy to get a vasectomy. See this being a South Park Episode.  Hyperbole abound.

• A Take on GeekGirlCon. Because who doesn't love female superheroes?  Play on usual stereotype and generalities. Perhaps men sneak in wearing female costumes. Ending with a can't we all just get along and agree we all look pretty hot in these costumes? and no raping. Sounds good. Maybe very after-school special-y. 

• Desperate Get Out the Vote People. going to vote? Hell no!

• Cecily Strong Reprising her role as Katie Holmes reprising her role as Jackie O.

• Man behind newscaster. Newscaster is reporting a stupid story. Off-center a man and friend are talking.  Man decides he's finally going to get noticed.  This is his chance to show his dance moves. A take on what we miss and what takes our attention.

• Parodying Jeff Goldblum GE commercials

• You've heard of Vampire Slayer Abraham Lincoln but have you heard "Funky Abraham Lincoln" ? Witness a whole new side of Abe Lincoln you probably never knew about.
