Sketch-On-Ya

Preface: Wanting to write for SNL or some paying sketch comedy TV gig… it’s important to keep up with the activity.  There isn’t a much better way than practicing to a standard, in this case I'll be using SNL's.  As mentioned in my writing goals list, SNL asks its writers to pitch sketch ideas on Monday and have fleshed out sketches early Wednesday morning.  So… every week I will try to pitch aboot 5-10 sketch ideas.  See what people think about them and choose 1-3 to write (everything depending on time).    

Possible Sketches: 

•  The long lost brother come home

• Two sound effect companies at war with each other

• Carnival carny trickster game 

• Shakespeare’s new soliliquoys

• Come to our secret lust park 
• phrase "desperate attempts at fornication"

•  Setting a picnic table during a light breeze

•  Angels- help? oh no, we’re just here to look beautiful, inspire or some shit.
• put Jesus images on toast- heaven incarceration?

• Two men at a bar.

•  Man and a woman really last people on earth

• Something with ninjas

• 5 steps to truly make you happy- dalli llama and random dude, maybe a conference

• 10 min surgeries.

• Woman in fire choosy about fireman

• Silent sketch with woman main actress

Progress:
I dids it!  Three sketches that need to be Revised!  Three Let's Book-Talk sketches! (with concepts for two others). 

Separate note: I acted in two sketches someone else wrote... will be putting those up eventually.
