Good stuff first, boring stuff second!
Comedy Sketch ideas for this week:
Please comment as to which would
you'd like to see realized, worked on, written and stuff?
1: Dads asking questions to young teen women about how to raise their daughters
- Getting progressively raw / gross / scandalous answers
- May include the women trash talking or revealing facts about the father’s daughters
3: A commercial about some medical procedure with a ripped dude “I’m not a doctor but…”
4: Secret life of teddy bears
5: Something about a Cop thanking people in general for giving him/her a job walking around a highschool
6: Something dealing with the sequester. Maybe one of those talking head news segments where the guest speaker is ignorant of the topic and says like-sounding words such as, semester, sea quest-er, worst than the first one sequel—that’s a stretch isn’t it, sequential, inquest, etc. or sequestration- elevation, sublimination, elimination, masturbation, tennis, whatever you see where I’m going with this.
7: Vomit-in-a-bag: just selling brown paper bags with a sticker on it saying “for vomit.”
- Now introducing the new “Fun” Vomit-in-a-Bag! (vomit in a bag has holes) to squirt out.
- “oh no, you’re going to vomit!” “no, no, it’s okay, I have a vomit-in-a-bag” “ah. That’s a life saver.” “oh no! vomit’s getting everywhere!” “haha, fooled you, this is a “fun” vomit-in-a-bag.” “hahah, oh you…”
9: Like that old MTV show (I don’t know if it’s still on the air)... where a douche is hiding somewhere with a device giving advice to some other douche on a date with a woman to score
- That but with politicians. Maybe a teen gets a teleprompter code or something… conference with press-ish
- Or doing something akin to a national geographic documentaries
Boring Stuff: excuses or much much more!
Update: I wrote one sketch that had nothing to do with the concepts listed from last week. Let's just say it involved moms, babies and roulette. The concepts from last week are still in mind. Inner pressure to make sure everything's up to snuff. For the past month most of my writing efforts have been put towards a collaborative comedy zine I’m putting together in a franken-style way. Not an Al-franken-style way. Anywho, the real question is, whatever happened to that senator?
Instead of writing a couple sketches in 2-3 days I’m changing the rules to get me in a better position, writing scripts as soon as possible but absolutely by next week Tuesday.
If ye just happen to be from SNL or some other paying entertainment entity and want to hire me or the like, please e-mail me, Jon D., at itsjtd @ gmail.com (no spaces)
Same note from before: my blog is still in the works, some sections aren't up / still being developed.
